How far can I drive on a single charge?

With the long-range battery, expect around 500 km in WLTP testing. Real-world range typically lands between 380 and 460 km, depending on weather, speed and load.

How quickly does the XC40 Electric charge?

At a 150 kW DC fast charger, plan on roughly 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes. At home on an 11 kW AC wallbox, a full overnight charge is comfortable.

Is the battery covered if something goes wrong?

Yes. The high-voltage battery is covered by an 8-year / 160,000 km warranty against capacity loss below 70% — talk to your retailer for the latest terms in your market.

Is the XC40 Electric the same car as the EX40?

In short — yes. The model has been refined and renamed in newer markets, but the platform, design language and core engineering are the same. Your retailer can walk you through what is in the latest version.
